If you're an aspiring musician, singer, songwriter, or simply just wanting to have a good time, Maxwell's Music House is the place to be. This place has an unbelievable staff. The owners, Paul Maxwell and Dave Mansell, have the perfect ingredients to success. From their passion, to the ability to accept the change in the business. To their exceptional talent, to setting their core goals from earlier on.
From all the volunteer work, to vocal, guitar, piano, and songwriting lessons, I have never experienced one negative thing out of the entire time I've been there. Around grade 12, I started to think what I wanted to do. I had no clue what I wanted to do with my life. I knew I had a passion in music. So I started taking lessons there. I did everything I could to surround myself in music. I even stayed late on school nights, sometimes even passed 2AM, just so I could experience everything I possibly could during the day and nights I volunteered. It put my foot in the door and I started to build my craft.
If you have ANY interest in music, Maxwell's Music House is the place.
Maxwell's Music House is an amazing place for anyone of all ages. The variety of acts that come through are phenomenal and there is something for everyone. Being a high school student that is trying to get out in the music world, it's a great place to be. You meet great people, and you are exposed to so much new upcoming artists that you've never heard of before, that are definitely going places.The atmosphere is very casual and the size is perfect for intimate one person acoustic acts or a full sized rock band. The people that work there are the most friendly people I have ever met, and I love being there. I've never had a bad experience at Maxwell's. I would recommend this space to anyone as far as a jam space or performing go.
